Happy New Year!!

Our first meeting of 2018 will be held this coming Monday, January 8th, at the SLO WIC office at 2180 Johnson Ave. Potluck dinner from 5:30-6pm and meeting from 6-7:30pm. The office and parking area are located behind the Public Health Dept.

We will map out the year and discuss what education topics and speakers we would like to have. We will also discuss the community events we want to participate in.

This is a very important meeting to attend because it sets the tone and agenda for the year. What would you like to learn about this year? Do you know of an amazing speaker that should speak to our group? Is there an event that the CCBC should be involved in? Bring your ideas and recommendations to share with the group.

CHANGE IN VOTING REQUIREMENTS: Starting 1/1/18, we are formalizing our member voting requirements. To be a CCBC member, a person just pays the yearly dues of $30. To be a voting member, a person must have attended, in the last 12 months, at least 3 meetings and volunteered at 1 community event.

All our meetings are open to the public and we are always looking for new members and community partners. It's going to be a great year!!
